Training Organization Module

Complete revision of the training module

With Rollup Update 42, the training module has been completely revised and both new and existing functions have been greatly improved and expanded.

Feature Introduction

The training module has received many new functions and the process has been extended so that complex training structures can be created.

Training management can now be mapped in a hierarchical structure. It starts at the top with the training plan. Training plans are perfect for guiding trainees through their learning path. In a training plan, several trainings can be bundled and you can now specify a certain order to map the learning content in a structured way.

You are already familiar with courses from your existing solution, but functions have been added to the courses. A training can now have several learning modules. We have kept it flexible as to how you can best use these learning modules. You can use the learning modules as a storage location for the specific training content or as a further structuring of your learning path. Learning modules are the smallest level to map your training management. You can now add exams as well. Training plans and trainings can include exams and serve as proof of learned knowledge.

Training events can be used to display and organize "in-persona" appointments.

Training progress can now be monitored via new dashboards and a progress bar. We have also added a Training Rollout Center. Through this rollout center your employees get their own training plans to work with. The whole training management is divided into the types "Template" & "Usage". This means that you only need to create a training plan as a "Template" once and can then roll it out centrally and uniformly to the desired employees.

Example:

The training admin creates a training plan - template for onboarding in the company. The onboarding training plan consists of 3 trainings: "About the company", "Using our software" & "Internal rules".

"About the company" includes 4 learning modules: "What do we do", "Company history", "Insight into departments" & "Our goals".

"Using our software" includes 3 learning modules: "Using Outlook," "Using PowerPoint," & "Using HR for Dynamics."

"Internal Rules of the Game" includes 2 learning modules: "Timekeeping & Vacation" and "When to inform the supervisor".

The learning modules have different characteristics, e.g. some include a PowerPoint, videos or there are appointments with a trainer on site.

This template can then be "rolled out" to your employees by selecting the newcomers via the Rollout Center (they are already created as employees). Each of the newcomers will then receive their own training plan.

Time & Attendance

Virtual Time Clock Location Coordinates

The process of capturing the geolocation of an user was reworked. Now, when you create an attendance from your mobile device (e.g. iPhone or Android), the system automatically captures your precise geolocation, ensuring accurate tracking and accountability.

Technical Details

The feature is now available out-of-the-box, and the only required action from the employee is to enable the geolocation tracking in their dynamics 365 app.


Datafox Configuration

The Datafox configuration was significantly enhanced, so now the devices will emit a distinct sound whenever an incorrect entry is added. This proactive feedback ensures the accuracy and efficiency in attendance tracking.

Technical Details

When updating to RU 42, the new changes will automatically be applied to the terminals of the customers, without the necessity of any configuration.
