Install base security for your HR solution
Objective
This page will guide you through the process of downloading and installing the Hierarchy Security Model. The hierarchy security model is intended to simplify the challenge of developing a security concept, especially for small and medium-sized companies. With correct data maintenance, we automatically create a security concept in the background with the help of the Microsoft platform and automation.

Prerequisites
- HR for Dynamics solution incl. Base Data has been downloaded and installed in your environment
- Additional background automations (Flows) have been downloaded and installed in your environment
Click Through
- Navigate to the Customer Portal
- Log in with your credentials
- Click on Downloads
- From the list, download the Addon: HR for Dynamics Hierarchy Security
- Navigate to PowerApps
- Login with the admin account you created with your new environment
- Click on Solutions on the left
- In the right half of the top bar, select the correct Environment
- Click Import Solution in the grey top bar
- Click Browse
- Select the file with the Addon: HR for Dynamics Hierarchy Security you downloaded
- Click Next
- Make sure in the Advanced Settings, the checkmark for Enable Plugin steps and flows included in the solution is checked.
- Click Import
- Done! The hierarchy security model is now being imported and will be installed in your environment.
Result
After you have successfully installed the hierarchy security model, you can activate it. We will take care of that a little later in this setup process.
Now it is time to access your newly installed HR solution, understand how to navigate it and activate the license for your HR solution.
